Odenton

Odenton is a census-designated place in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. It is about 10 to 20 minutes away from Annapolis, the state capital. The town has a diverse population and has long benefited from its location along the Baltimore-Washington line. Odenton is an excellent place to live and work if you’re looking for a suburban community that offers great schools and excellent public transportation.

Odenton is densely populated but has some beautiful natural areas nearby. Nearby Paxtuent Research Refuge offers trails, wildlife viewing, and regular outdoor events. The town also has several parks with playgrounds, sports fields, jogging tracks, and picnic areas. In addition, there are four shopping centers in the town.

In addition to a variety of restaurants, Odenton is also home to the Crooked Crab Brewing Co., which serves seafood and other ethnic fares. Whether you’re looking for authentic Chinese cuisine or American fare, the area has something for everyone. And you’ll never be far from public transportation.

The town was once a small farming community, but it soon expanded with the construction of the Annapolis Elk Ridge Railroad in 1840. It was the only connection between the North and the capital, and it was defended fiercely during the Civil War. Then, when the Baltimore Potomac Railroad was built, the town expanded its local passenger service. Even though it remains a small town, it’s easy to see how important the railroad has been to the development of the area.

The area’s location has attracted developers. In fact, plans for the development of the town go back more than five decades. Today, you can see the results of this growth with the development of several planned communities, including Piney Orchard, Seven Oaks, and Odenton Town Center. These projects are expected to add more housing and retail space to the area.

Odenton was founded in the mid-1800s. During this time, a steam-powered railroad connected Baltimore with Washington, D.C. The town had its own railroad station named after the former governor of Maryland, Oden Bowie. The station was opened on July 2, 1872. Today, the station is part of the MARC commuter line.

In recent years, Odenton has become one of the fastest-growing areas in the county. The area is close to NSA headquarters, the Fort George G. Meade Army Base, and Washington, D.C., as well as the Annapolis area. New housing developments like the Piney Orchard are fueling this growth, and the Odenton Town Center is under construction.

The real estate market in Odenton offers an excellent variety of housing options. Prices range from modest to large single-family homes. The median home price in the area is around $400000. You can find condos, townhomes, row homes, and single-family homes in both new and older neighborhoods. The community has seen rapid growth in the last decade, and it’s now home to over 37,000 residents. Next area.

What Our Clients Say

Once again you have exceeded our expectations. The price was very reasonable (we did shop around) and professionalism was outstanding. Thanks for not trying to include add-on fees to make a higher profit and we are looking forward to working with you for many more years to come.

-M. Leo Storch Management

Mr Joseph was by far the most responsive of the three companies we contacted. He came to inspect or driveway on the date and time he promised, gave us a firm quote, and he and his crew arrived on the appointed day at the scheduled time. They edged and cleared the old surface, then laid the new asphalt with the edges tapered to align with our patio and sidewalk. When they were finished the new surface was truly beautiful (and functional).
